Dermatology

The Division of Dermatology has board-certified dermatologists who have diverse areas of concentration, including aesthetic dermatology, psoriasis, patch testing and skin cancer. Some of the most common diseases treated include:

  • Contact Allergies
  • Skin tumors
  • Psoriasis
  • Acne
  • Atopic dermatitis
  • Warts
  • Skin cancer

The Center for Skin Cancer and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the Loyola Family Health Center at LaGrange Park offers patients a comprehensive program for the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers. The center focuses on basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, DFSP and melanoma, among others.

The Psoriasis Center, also in LaGrange Park, aims to improve the quality of life for individuals with psoriasis through clinical care, research and education. Patients with psoriasis are evaluated and treated using traditional topical therapies, phototherapy, systemic treatments and new biologic therapies. Treatment for psoriatic arthritis also is available.

The Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Center, located at Loyola Family Health Center at LaGrange Park, offers various procedures to improve the signs of aging, including:

  • Cosmetic Dermatology
