The division provides comprehensive allergy consultation, evaluation and treatments in the outpatient setting.

Services include:

• Asthma
• Allergic rhino conjunctivitis
• Atopic dermatitis
• Anaphylaxis
• Urticaria/angioedema
• Food and drug allergy
• Insect allergy
• Sinusitis
• Immunodeficiency diseases
• Acute and chronic desensitization therapy

The allergy clinic also provides diagnostic procedures, such as:

• Pulmonary function testing
• Skin testing with allergenic extracts including inhalants, foods, antibiotics and stinging insects
• Bronchial challenge procedures

These services and procedures are available at the Loyola University Medical Center and the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital.
