Microbes in Health and Disease- Special Topics 2009 

This is a literature-based discussion, with 11 sessions. 

Goals:

  • Understand the role of bacterial-host interactions in disease and health
  • Analyze important clinical examples
  • Understand future antimicrobial therapies
  • Gain practice in critically reading the scientific literature, for life-long learning

Format: 

  • The format of the class will be a discussion based on the relevant paper(s).
  • All attendees are expected to have read the papers prior to the session.
  • The papers for each discussion session are (will be) linked below.
