The Near South Health Center is located on Chicago’s south side a few miles from the downtown area. The characteristics of this Center patient population reflect the community it serves. It provides services to the medically underserved population. It is the mission of the Near South Heath Center to provide the highest quality health care in a professional, efficient, caring and compassionate manner to every individual regardless of their ability to pay. A majority of the patient population receives Medicaid, Medicare or is self-pay.


The clinic services approximately 15,000 patients per year. Caring quality healthcare is provided for infants, children, adults and the elderly in the following areas:

                    Women’s Health
                    Nutritionist
                    Neighborhood Outreach
