OB Curriculum

Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Rotation in Family Medicine 

The Faculty and Staff of the Department of Family Medicine welcome you to your outpatient rotation in Family Medicine.

Your rotation is based on the guidelines outlined in “Educational Objectives: Core Curriculum in Obstetrics and Gynecology” – Seventh Edition 2002. Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The following pages will explain the core curriculum and will direct your web-based self education.

You will be presented with a card for you to complete including your self-directed reading and study, and your recommended outpatient procedures. This card will be presented to your Family Medicine OB/Gyne Resident Rotation Director, Aaron Michelfelder, M.D.
