YORK FELLOWSHIP IN CLINICAL EDUCATION

The goal of the York Fellowship in Clinical Education is to give our most gifted teachers the opportunity to pursue projects that will improve the curriculum for medicine, hone teaching techniques and implement effective teaching practices.

A year-long contractual commitment, the fellowship will enable top Stritch faculty to develop a stronger involvement in medical education and improve their skills in teaching, administration and leadership. York Fellows will develop and complete a research project in medical education. A Fellow may create a curricular enhancement that will then be taught to teachers as part if the Teaching the Teachers initiative. Through the fellowship, our best young faculty will grow in the model exemplified by Dr. Leischner.
