SCHEDULE of
Events
This conference is a
dialogue regarding the health care professions and strategies to advocate
for the health of the community. The medical students and nursing students
of Loyola University Chicago and the students of Cristo Rey Jesuit High
School (CRJHS) and the CRJHS community will share insights with each other
in a variety of ways.
-
Cristo Rey students are
creating essays and art work that describes their encounters with and
perspectives on our health care system. Sixteen of these essays will be
designated as scholarship winning work and will be featured at the
conference.
-
Loyola medical and
nursing students are working with CRJHS students to develop a health
fair for the CRJHS community. This will directly serve the health of
the community and provide practical experience and insight into the
health professions for the participating students.

Two keynote addresses
will discuss the role of the medical and health care professions as
servant leaders of the community.
