Kenneth Craig Micetich, M.D., received his M.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and
trained in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and in Oncology at the
National Cancer Institute and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical
Oncology. Dr. Micetich is currently Professor of Medicine, Hematology-Oncology, Department
of Medicine, at Loyola University Medical Center and Loyola University
Chicago Stritch School of
Medicine. Dr. Micetich Chairs the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human
Subjects and the Medical Center Ethics Committee and is the Associate Chief, Ethics
Consult Service. Dr. Micetich's research interests include end of life care, futility
concerns, care of the chronically ill patient, ethics of clinical experimental design and
research informed consent.
