Department of Medicine

The Division of Dermatology treats skin disorders of all types, including minor as well as more difficult diseases. Among the more common diseases that are treated are:

  • Skin cancer
  • Skin tumors
  • Psoriasis
  • Acne
  • Atopic dermatitis
  • Warts

The division has a special interest in the treatment of patients with collagen vascular disease and skin signs of systemic disease, as well as a major interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.

The division performs procedures that include:

  • Mohs Micrographic Surgery
  • Cosmetic and Medical Laser Surgery
  • Photodynamic Therapy
  • IPL Treatments
  • UVA, UVB, narrow band UVB, and PUVA phototherapy
  • Cosmetic Botulinum Toxin Injections
  • Soft Tissue Fillers
  • Chemical Peels
  • Schlerotherapy
  • Patch Testing
  • Removal of Skin Growths
