prior to final exams in cases of illness or personal tragedy. An INC
grade not cleared according to the regulations stated in the "INCOMPLETE
GRADES" section below will be converted to an F. |
| WD |
Withdrawn from course. This grade can only
be given prior to final exams in instances when a student has officially
withdrawn or been granted a leave of absence from the Stritch School
of Medicine |
All grades must be reported by the department
to the Registrar within two weeks (excluding official holidays) of the final
examination or the final scheduled class session. Students will receive a grade
report after each semester. A class rank will be computed only after all grades
have been collected at the conclusion of the junior year and is usually announced
in September of the senior year. A second and final class rank is computed after
graduation. Class rank is not posted on the student's official transcript, and
it will only be released by the school with the written permission of the student.
The grade of P++ is not used in computing class rank. These rankings will place
a student in the upper, middle or lower third of the class.
All grades earned in properly registered
courses will be recorded on the student's official transcript.
