Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, Division of Continuing Medical Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4 hours in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Course Objectives:  Upon completion of this session:

  1. The physicians will be able to diagnose the initial presentation of dementia in elderly patients.
  2. Participants will be able to access proper medial care for patients with dementia.
  3. Participants will be able to describe the complexity of family concerns for patients with dementia.
