Location: Maywood, Illinois, a suburb 12 miles west of downtown Chicago.

Requirements -- 2008 Entering Class:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One academic year of General Biology/Zoology, General Chemistry, General Physics, and Organic Chemistry -- all with laboratory (Biochemistry can be substituted for part of the Organic requirement).
  • MCAT (Oldest considered 2004)

Application Dates:

  • AMCAS Application: June 1 through November 15
  • Stritch Supplemental and Letters of Recommendation: Due date specified on supplemental application (approximately 4 weeks)
  • Interviews: September through April
  • Decisions: October 15 until class is filled

Application Fee: $70.00

The United States Medical Licensing Examinations Step 1 and Step 2 CK (Clinical Knowledge) must be passed and a score on Step 2 CS (Clinical Skills) must be passed to meet the requirement for graduation.
